NOTICE TO ALL PROPERTY OWNERS OF TAXABLE PROPERTY IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY
Pursuant to Section 67-5-508, Tennessee Code Annotated, the records of the classifications appraisals and assessed values of the 2024 taxable property in Rutherford County are NOW open for inspection by interested property owners. According to Rutherford County Assessor Rob Mitchell, these records are open for public inspection at 319 N. Maple Street, Suite 200, Murfreesboro TN, during normal office hours. Property owners or their Agent (per TCA 67-5-1407) who wish to appeal and seek adjustments in the appraisal or classification of their property may appear before the Rutherford County Board of Equalization, which begins its hearing June 3, 2024. The Rutherford County Board of Equalization will meet Monday, June 3, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and will continue each weekday as needed. Appeals will be conducted in the conference room at the office of the Assessor of Property at 319 N. Maple Street, Suite 200. Please call 615 898-7750 to schedule an appointment. Failure to appeal the assessment to the Rutherford County Board of Equalization will result in the assessment becoming final without further right of appeal.
